Frequently asked questions.

The questions we get most often. Didn't find yours? Email us — we probably haven't written about it yet, and you'll help us prioritize.

How often is the data updated?

The full catalog is re-verified once per year, usually in December. Individual programs may be updated mid-cycle when we get corrections or when a school publishes significant changes. Every detail page shows a "Last verified" stamp.

How are rankings decided?

We weight graduate-outcome data (first-year salary, placement rate), faculty research impact at top AI venues (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL), admit selectivity, and a cost-to-earnings ratio. Programs must be regionally accredited and have graduated at least two cohorts from their AI track. Full methodology is published on the Methodology page.

Do sponsors get better rankings?

No. Our ranking algorithm has no knowledge of which programs pay us. Sponsored placements are shown as dedicated "Sponsored" cards, clearly labeled, and never positioned above our editorial #1 pick.

Do you cover PhD programs, MBAs, or certifications?

Not yet. We focus exclusively on accredited bachelor's and master's degrees in AI, ML, and CS with a declared AI track. Extending coverage is on our roadmap.

Can I submit a program to be added?

Yes. Email us the school name, program name, and a link to the official program page. We add new programs if they meet our accreditation and cohort requirements.

Do you sell my data if I use Find My Program?

No. The wizard runs entirely in your browser and we don't store your answers. Requesting info from a specific program does share your contact info with that program only — that's the whole point of "Request info."
